New JP pattern! It's called Hot Cocoa Jacket and it's published in the book titled "More Big Girl Knits."
It's a double-breasted jacket with a shawl collar. The stitch pattern slants inward above the waist and outward below to define the waist. Unfortunately, there isn't a photo in the book of the jacket straight on to really show the effect, but just like wearing large horizontal stripes will make a person look big, the direction of the slanted stitch pattern has the opposite effect and really slims.

The yarn, which is oh so warm and cozy, is RYC Cashsoft DK (merino/microfiber/cashmere) and is available in over 20 colors.

Beautiful! I can't wait to see the book. I will probably have to try out the pattern.
The photos in the book are not great. I'm loving what I'm seeing of it, but I'd love to see a full front shot. I don't suppose you'd have one? :)
Unfortunately I don't have a photo of it from the front. I didn't take any pictures before sending it off.
